Vivian Cahn has been involved in interior design since the 1980s. She began as a real estate investor, buying and renovating residential and commercial properties and acting as
her own contractor.

From this experience, she developed an interest in the confluence of special elements which result in beautiful and deeply appealing spaces. A degree in Interior Design as well as studies in the Chinese art of Feng Shui further enhanced her knowledge, as did travels throughout much of the world, observing a vast array of interiors. As a result, her work is imbued with an international aesthetic, creating a sense of serenity and elegance.

Whenever possible, Vivian works with local craftsmen and artisans to create one-of-a-kind interiors. She believes strongly in supporting the local economy, finding New Orleans to have some of the best design selections anywhere.
